Happy Autumn!

Happy Autumn, all!

Senator Linda Newell

Well, snow has fallen, and we’ve survived the usual first snow crazy driver syndrome.  Before the true holiday season hits, there are some exciting events happening in November that you might want to know about.

Election Day or Town Hall?

As you know, the first Tuesday in November is Election Day. The first Tuesday in November (November 1st) also happens to be my regularly scheduled town hall at the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce in Centennial! In light of this, I’m sure you’d rather be at an election party or watching the results from your couch.  So, I am working with the Chamber toget another date we can meet in November.  Stay tuned for the new date.

So, please remember to exercise your right and vote!

Keeping Our Community Safe

Please join me for my next town hall to honor local veterans in our community who fought to protect our freedoms and to learn how we can take charge of our safety at home from professionals who specialize in disaster preparedness, community safety, and terrorism protocols. This is a great opportunity to honor our vets and get informed on how to keep each other be safe in the 21st century.

WHEN: Saturday, November 12, 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.

WHERE: Blueberry’s Bakery & Café
1500 W. Littleton Blvd., Littleton (In the Woodlawn Shopping Center)
